Im very disturb by e articles on teenage sex n HIV/AIDS recently...
really dunno wad is going thru e minds of teenagers...

seriously...
they don't see e consequences...
n those are e consequences dat they cant afford to bear...

23% describe themselves as sexually active...
this is absurd...

teenage abortion rates are on e rise...
avg age of HIV n STIs are decreasing... abt 19
which is an alarming figure...

really... teenagers nowadays are too rash n hotheaded...
its such a common thing now dat nobody can do anything...

is it e adverse effects of education??
stress levels are increasing therefore students take that as a form of relaxation??
i think its because sexual education starts too early...
children are exposed to such education at their early puberty stage...
so the more they know they more curious they are...
cos during our parents era they only get to noe such things at maybe 18??

but i think e serious issue here is that more young ones are contracting HIV/STIs
S'pore is already facing ageing population...
if HIV/STIs are so prevailing dat young ones are dying then who is gonna support e country??

Teenagers now are jus too self-centered...
they only think of themselves...

im not against e idea of BGRs...
but im v against pre-marital sex...

but im being taught dat holding on to virginity is wad we girls should do...
i agree that sleeping with e man u love is not a crime...
but us being teenagers...
e important factor here is time...
time is jus not ripe yet...
